Nrityanjali Academy was established in year 2000 at Kharghuli, Guwahati, Assam. Later it is Registered as an NGO and working continuously. From the beginning this organisation imparts Art Classes( Guernica School of Fine Arts & Crafts) and Dance Classes to youth and children. Nrityanjali Academy organised various programme including Dance Drama Brahmaputra( on River Brahmaputra) at Kumar Bhaskar Natya Mandir,- 2009,Guwahati. Bharatnatyam Dance Recital By Guru Khagendra Nath Barman(Kolkata) and his group Natanam Kalakshetra at Auditorium, Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra 2008, jointly with Anusuya Dance Academy, State level Workshop at different places like Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra, Anusuya Dance Academy, Nrityanjali Academy, A State level Terracotta Workshop with Chitrakala Niketan and N.E.Z.C.C at Shilpgram of Guwahati, 2011. 1st All Assam Nrityanjali Dance Competition -2013, District Library Guwahati. Art workshop and Exhibition by Contemporary Artists of Assam For Uttarakahand Relief Fund in collaboration with Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Assam-2013 and recently Nrityanjali Academy organized an International Art Exhibition at Thimphu Bhutan with Nehru wangchuk cultural center, Embassy of India, Bhutan. Nrityanjali also regularly participating in various Socio cultural events with activity like organising, curating, composing and performing .
Nrityanjali Academy, has been consistently making strides in the field of Classical and Creative Dance, Handicrafts, Visual Art forms to popularise them amidst the youth and so it will years to come.
