Devarshi Yogapith is an institute for research in naturopathy and yogic sciences registered under the West Bengal Societies Act, 1961. The foundation of the institute was laid in the year 1976 by our founder president Shri Vijay Chaturvedi Yogi, who is a disciple of the legendary Yoga Guru Shri Dhirenbramhachaari ji.
It is common knowledge that the cost of healthcare has become prohibitive. In this context the importance of yoga and meditation assumes special significance. Medical practitioners worldwide have acknowledged the positive effects of these techniques on the overall well-being.
Devarshi Yogapith has worked incessantly in the field of yoga and meditation since 1976. During this period it got associated with individuals and organizations at different capacities. Among others, it has successfully run various programs to inculcate good practices of yoga for school students, teachers and the police department.
